Sons of Fenrir

I've been pretty caught up in school lately, and even though it's an art school, I have two classes that are just general ed, one of which is taught by a teacher that doesn't like kids drawing in class. I know cause she yelled at me in front of the whole class for doing so. The other teacher is a very nice woman, but she seems to think that if I'm drawing, I can't pay attention. Eh. Oh well.

Anyways, I spent this weekend trying some new doodles. Had some ideas for some new designs, like this one. Then, I've also been stuffing my face with my roommate's cannolis. Between those, and a mountain of eraser shavings growing on our floor, I managed to produce this. Now, on to the actual art description:

Based on the Norse tale of Skoll and Hati, the sons of Fenrir, who chase the sun and moon across the sky every day and night, trying to devour them. Legend says that when Ragnarok finally arrives, these brothers will succeed in their eternal mission, and eliminate these two celestial bodies.

Good story, no?

I've seen many beautiful renditions of the sons of Fenrir, and I've meant to try my hand at one for quiet some time. Of course, I always meant to do an actual PICTURE, and not just a design...but oh well, I like this anyways. Don't really like the sun design, when I tried to make it circle, it decided it wanted to serpentine very VERY slightly....but oh well, whatever.
